Mikalaj is a Belarussian social activist and anarchist. He is one of the Belarussian anarchists, who were arrested during mass repressions of the September. 1st of October he was filed with charges according to statute 339, second paragraph of the Belarussian criminal codex (hooliganism), which carries a maximum sentence of 5 years in prison, for an anti-militarist action at the military headquarters of the republic of Belarus 19th of September 2009. Note that Belarus is a bilingual country, official and preferred names of most
of the arrested are in Belarusian language, thus we list prisoners by their Belarusian names.
But as prisoner registry of prisons is organised in Russian language, we list addresses
with Russian names, when they differ from Belarusian names.
